New Pricing Structure*
Starting on Monday
December 5th we will be increasing our daily rental fee to $1.20 per day for new releases. The catalog titles (anything older
than 6 months) will remain at a $1.00 a day. Prairie Video is making
this change because we are experiencing higher operating fees including a new fee structure mandated by debit card companies
such as VISA and MasterCard. We have chosen $1.20 per
day directly based on this credit card fee increase.
We appreciate your continued business and if you have any questions or concerns please call our customer service
staff at 1.888.200.7926.
*The daily rental charge for new releases will remain a $1.50 in Baldwin,
WI and Stanley, ND

Why
did you raise prices?
The price change is directly
related to an increase in operating costs, including a new fee structure mandated by debit and credit card companies.
Is
the price for just the first night or every night?
It
is a daily rental price increase of a $1.20 for every night the disc is out.
Is the price increase
for all DVDs?
No, the price increase is only
for new releases. Any DVD older than 6 months and no longer shows up on the new release page when browsing, will still be
the low price of $1.00 per day. While browsing, the DVD rental price is noted at the bottom of the movie description page
for each title.
How will this effect the 30 day, $30 selling mark?
After 25 days, if a DVD has not been returned or has been lost, the disc will sell for $30
plus tax.
