FF stands for “Full Frame” — this is the standard, square
TV shape. WS stands for “Widescreen” — this is rectangular like the shape of a movie screen. Full frame
movies have been modified to fit a TV screen by cutting off the sides of the movie. Widescreen movies maintain the size and
shape of the original theatrical movie. If you do not have a widescreen TV, it will play with the “black bars”
at the top and bottom; however, you will be seeing the entire movie.
